Biography:

Ainsley is currently a PhD student in the Department of Kinesiology. She has recently graduated with her Graduate and Master’s Degrees in Science, specifically Biomedical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, where she concentrated in Biomechanics. During her time at UConn, Ainsley was a 5-year division I athlete for the women’s ice hockey team, where she helped the team win their first ever Hockey East Championships. Her research interests include biomechanics, sports performance, patellofemoral pain and athlete injury assessments.
