The UConn Institute for Sports Medicine is a collaboration between UConn Health and the UConn Department of Kinesiology that brings together nationally recognized researchers, clinicians, and physicians who are committed to the health, performance, and longevity of athletes.
From recreational to high school sports and collegiate to professional teams, our experts dedicate their careers to keeping athletes in the game. We serve individual athletes, teams, and those who support them, including parents, coaches, athletic trainers, and athletic directors, by providing customized education, prevention, return-to-play, and on-site support.
Through our work, we seek to advance knowledge and best practices through wide-ranging, game-changing research. We proudly apply our research and medical breakthroughs so athletes of all ages and skill levels benefit from our comprehensive care and education.
